Hi, I am Armando Benner
My passion is to see others flying higher than me. My voice is to help others to find their voices, their messages, their contributions to make this world a better place. Currently I am leading the work of YWAM Amsterdam; I love this community that has become my extended family. Amsterdam is a city of influence a trendsetting polis. You can see its impact in New York, formally called New Amsterdam, the urban planning of Saint Petersburg in Russia, as well as former Batavia, South Africa, Brazil and the Antilles. If the city is changed, transformed I believed will be like a Jericho effect; other cities across the world will fall. We, the Benners, are urbanites, citizens of Europe with a heart for the nations. I co-founded a movement called Nations 2 Nations and I am currently the president. From the Nations to the Nations is the slogan of YWAM Amsterdam as well as other YWAM bases around the world. Our heart is to see the dignity of the nations being restored. I love when my kids ask, “When is the next Nations 2 Nations going to occur?” Nations 2 Nations is a place where platform is provided; more than a multicultural show is a demonstration of God’s heart. In Amsterdam we are building a Tabernacle of the Nations, a place of worship and adoration where God is going to be exalted 24/7 right in the heart of the Red Light District. I enjoyed dancing salsa with Karin and eating Middle Eastern food or French cuisine with her. I love scuba diving with Rivka around the world and snow boarding with Gibi and Rachel in Denver or Switzerland, I love watching movies with the kids and every time I come back from a trip, they all sit down and ask, “Papa, tell us the stories, the adventures of your trip.” This will be my legacy to my children, not just a house and a car, but the fact that they will be able to impact the nations, the world.
